Rum Glaze

Equipment:

  • 1 Medium-Sized Saucepan
  • Stove
  • Wooden Spoon

Ingredients:

  • 1Stick Butter ( Cups)
  • 1 Cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup Water
  • 1 12 Teaspoon Rum Flavoring or Rum Substitute

Pre-Preparation:

  1. Lay out all ingredients/equiptment15 minutes prior to cooking/baking.

Directions:

  1. In your saucepan, add in butter, sugar, water and rum flavoring.
  2. Stir mixture over medium heat and bring to a boil.
  3. Allow mixture to boil for 3 Minutes.
  4. After 3 Minutes remove mixture from heat and pour over hot cake still in baking pan.
