Homemade Dressing

Equipment:

  • 1 Large Bowl
  • 1 Wooden Spoon
  • 13 x 9 Pan
  • Stove
  • Oven
  • Butcher's Knife
  • Frying Pan
  • PAM Cooking Spray

Ingredients:

  • 1 Cake (or pan) of Cornbread
  • Large Pack of Pepperidge Farms Dressing Mix
  • 1 Onion (Finely Chopped)
  • 3 or 4 Stalk of Celery (Finely Chopped)
  • 1 Teaspoon Ground Sage
  • Approximately 3 Cans of Turkey or Chicken Broth
  • 4 or 5 Eggs, Well Beaten

Pre-Preparation:

  1. Lay out all ingredients/equiptment15 minutes prior to cooking/baking.

Directions:

  1. Cook Cornbread & let cool.
  2. Preheat oven to 350 Degrees
  3. Mix Cornbread and Dressing Mix together.
  4. Sauté Onions & Celery.
  5. Add Sage to the mix.
  6. Add Sautéed Onions & Celery to mix.
  7. Add Broth to mix but not so much that the mix is soggy.
  8. Add Eggs & mix well.
  9. Grease or spray pan and cook for 45-50 minutes
  10. Once baked and plated you can then add some Dressing Gravy over the top of the dressing.
